Guest Reviews

We loved our stay here and will book again if we are fortunate enough to return to Franschhoek. Elaine was a great host, giving us the perfect balance of helpfulness and privacy. The apartment was cozy and clean, with comfortable beds and furnishings, plus several thoughtful amenities to make us feel at home. The garden area with the small pool was a delightful place to spend a few hours in the afternoon.

What a great little spot, ideal walking distance into the village and perfect for what we needed (a night in Franschoek for two). Nothing that I would change. A little mat/rug next to the bed would've been a nice touch but not a big miss as we stayed for one night only. Would be happy to stay here again!

A tranquil retreat only 500m walk from the bustle of Franschhoek's main street. Room is spacious and well furnished. On-site secure parking; in-room Wi-Fi; separate entrance; plunge pool; and best of all the beautiful views of sunrise/sunset on the mountains. We had everything we needed for our weekend stay, but remember that restaurant service in Franschhoek is efficient, but not speedy. If you are in a rush to get your real coffee fix, jog down to the Hoek Espresso Bar - best in the area

The unit was a spacious, well-furnished modern bedroom and bathroom located on the ground floor, with a sliding glass door opening to an outdoor sitting porch in the garden. We enjoyed sitting and reading there in the afternoon. The garden includes a lovely plunge pool that I enjoyed briefly in hot weather (the water was cool). It also included a protected parking space for our car.
The location, though in a quiet residential area, is close enough to the central area of Franschoek that we walked there for visiting shops and dining.

Found the room on booking site, and was very pleased I did. Location is only a 5minute walk to the many eating establishments.Room was large and had a plunge pool in the garden that was very welcoming.Owner contacted us 1 month before arrival date to suggest that we book restaurants then as they get very busy. This advise is worth taking on board, most restaurants were fully booked. All in all very pleased with the stay and the property.
